Dream Like Dr. King

An immersive experience for youth, Dream Like Dr. King invited children and families into a creative space rooted in culture, reflection, and joy. The event honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. not only through remembrance, but through hands-on experiences that encouraged self-expression, confidence, and imagination.

Youth participated in interactive activities including designing and heat-pressing their own Dr. King–inspired T-shirts, professional photo sessions, and video storytelling moments that allowed them to speak their dreams aloud. The space was intentionally designed to feel affirming and celebratory, where young people were seen, heard, and centered.

More than an event, Dream Like Dr. King served as a living reminder that Dr. King’s dream continues through the creativity, brilliance, and voices of today’s youth—especially when they are given the tools and space to envision what’s possible.
